YouTube has been around now for more than ten years. Created in 2005 and bought by Google in 2006 it is a giant with billions of users around the world.
According to Wikipedia, as of February 2017, “There were more than 400 hours of content uploaded to YouTube each minute, and one billion hours of content are watched on YouTube every day. In August it was ranked the second-most popular site in the world by Alexa Internet, a web traffic analysis company.”
If those stats alone aren’t enough to get you pulling out the video camera, how about this?
Video continues to dominate the marketing sphere. WordStream published this article in September, 2017 that gives a host of reasons why video is king.
Not to mention the SEO benefits. If you are posting to YouTube on a frequent basis you are also bringing up your search ranking and that is always a good thing.
